Here's a small update. This is a game creature concept titled Blind whale. It was a complete random doodle later suited into a game. Still trying to get used to colouring and the bigger size of my new tablet. Big is good but I wish I have had a wide screen monitor as well, normal ratio monitor feels claustrophobic.
This is freaking sweet. I love the textures and the overall color palette. Reminds me a lot of a book I read called Fluke, by Christopher Moore. It had these half-man, half-whale things, and the face in this painting looks just how I pictured the faces of those things.
ReplyDeletethank you for you comments ryan. I have never heard of that book but it sounds really interesting. I am a deep sea freak and find it almost as mysterious as space, if not as much. Need to come up with other weird mutated apocalyptic creatures (the only thing I can just about do really).
